How does a stipend work?
I’m looking into the stipend definition and want to understand how stipends are generally provided to interns, trainees, or other workers.

A stipend is a fixed amount of money provided regularly to support expenses related to internships, education, training, or other activities. Unlike a salary, it usually is not based on hours worked and may not include standard employee benefits.

A stipend is a fixed payment provided to support someone during an internship, training, education, or similar period. Unlike a regular salary, it is usually intended to help cover expenses rather than compensate for specific hours worked.
