Is an LLC a corporation?
Is an LLC a corporation, or are they considered different business structures? I’d like to understand the main differences between an LLC and a corporation when choosing a structure for a U.S. business.

Not exactly. An LLC (Limited Liability Company) is a separate business structure from a corporation. An LLC generally offers liability protection with more flexible management and tax options, while a corporation has a more formal structure with shareholders, directors, and officers.

No. An LLC (Limited Liability Company) and a corporation are not the same thing. An LLC is a distinct form of business entity, which provides liability protection but allows for more management and tax flexibility compared to a corporation.
