What is included in a UIUC audit?
Has anyone dealt with a UIUC audit? I’d like to understand what the audit process involves and what financial or accounting records may be required.

From what I know it's basically sitting in on a class without getting graded, so no credit but you still get the material and feedback if you want it.

In general, a typical UIUC audit will include examining financial statements and transactions, internal control procedures, compliance issues, documentation, and reporting. The auditors will check if the information is reliable, if the policies have been adhered to, and if risks have been managed.

When you talk about a UIUC University Audits review, it generally deals with controls, risk management, governance, transactions, compliance, process, and asset protection. An audit can consist of an interview, data analysis, testing of documents, conclusions, recommendations for improvement, and follow-up.
