Where can I find my AGI through an IRS lookup?
What is the best way to find AGI through an IRS lookup when preparing a U.S. tax return? I’d like to know which official records or tax documents can help taxpayers locate their prior-year AGI.

You can find your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) on your most recently filed federal tax return, usually on Form 1040. If you need to retrieve it online, use your IRS Online Account to access your tax records and transcripts. The IRS does not provide a general public “AGI lookup” without identity verification, so you’ll need to access your own tax information securely.

The New Hampshire tax kiosk is a self-service option provided by the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (NHDRA) that can help taxpayers access certain tax-related services and information. Depending on the kiosk and service available, users may be able to make payments or complete specific tax transactions without visiting an office. Availability and supported services can vary, so taxpayers should check current NHDRA information before using one.

You can find your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) on your IRS tax return, usually on Form 1040, line 11. If you need it for IRS verification, you can also use your IRS Online Account or request a tax return transcript through the IRS website. I usually check the Form 1040 first because it’s the quickest way to find it.

Your AGI is usually found on your federal tax return, not through a simple public IRS lookup. If you filed electronically, check your tax return copy or use your IRS online account to access available tax information.
